One of the trail markers Troop 54 passed on the "M & M" while backpacking through Wendell State Forest (November 2009).
Often referred to as the "M and M Trail", this trail runs north/south a bit further west than Worcester. Several trail segments connect a series of trail shelters. As of March 2017, most sections of this trail have been incorporated into the New England Trail and appears to be referred to as the NET.

Metacomet-Monadnock Trail Guide - This book includes maps and detailed trail descriptions. New copies of the book (from 2005) can still be found online, but it is not longer maintained.
