Webelos Woods

September 18-20, 2009
Treasure Valley

Troop 54 will be participating in Webelos Woods, a Council Event, with members of Cub Scout Pack 54. This is an outdoor event intended to provide Webelos Scouts with a chance to earn requirements for activity badges and their rank. It also provides Webelos Scouts another opportunity to get to know the troop they might cross over to. During the event, Webelos Scouts stop at each of several stations to work on a specific activity badge.

Troop 54 Scouts will run the Forestry station with ASM Keevan.

As this is a camporee style event, patrols can have fun with cooking that requires dutch ovens or other heavy gear.

Registration is $3 per Boy Scout; there is no fee for adults. The troop needs to register for the event by September 15, so troop members need to pay the troop by September 10. Patrols are responsible for providing meals.

Council Event Information

A medical form is required. If you went to camp this year, you can bring that form. Otherwise, complete the Class I portion of the BSA Medical Record.

Adults staying overnight must have a current CORI on file with the Mohegan Council. This information is needed by September 10.

Meet at the church parking lot at 5:45 PM, September 18, for departure at 6:00 PM

Return to the church is planned for 11:00 AM, September 20.
