Troop 54 Scouts prepare for a second day on the trail (August 2011).
Basically, Boy Scouts is available to boys from age 11 through age 17. Boys who have earned the Arrow of Light Award (in Cub Scouts) and are at least 10 years old and boys who have completed the fifth grade and are at least 10 can also join Boy Scouts.
We encourage younger boys to consider joining Cub Scouts.
New members can join at any time of the year.

To find out about troops in any part of the United States, you can visit the BeAScout website. While there, you can get basic information about each troop and optionally send a message to troop representatives and/or electronically submit a membership application.
Scouting encourages family involvement. Your parents are welcome to become leaders in the Troop.
