Keith A. MacNeal currently serves as Chartered Organization Representative for Troop 54 and Pack 54. Since 2008, he has served as an Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 54. He has also served for several years as Popcorn Kernel for the unit.
Mr. MacNeal was a leader in Pack 91 prior to joining Troop 54, serving as Cubmaster and Den Leader.
Mr. MacNeal was a member of OA in the Allogagan Lodge of Pioneer Vally Council (now part of the Western Massachusetts Council) as a youth, becoming a Vigil Honor member. He has been very involved in Pachachaug Lodge of the Order of the Arrow for several years. He first served as Advisor to the Ceremonies Committee and since November 2015 has served as Lodge Advisor.
Mr. MacNeal has been awarded a number of Scouting awards, including:
- District Award of Merit (Quinsigamond District, 2013)
- OA Founders Award (2011)
- Silver Beaver (Mohegan Council, 2016)
Keith's son, Gavin MacNeal, held the position of Senior Patrol Leader in Troop 54.
Outside of Scouting, Mr. MacNeal also volunteers as a referee for New England Rugby Football. For years, he coached touch Rugby for ages 6-14 and the WPI women's Rugby team.
Professionally, Mr. MacNeal is a chemical engineer. He works at Entegris as a Quality Engineer.
