Robert E. Gates was Scoutmaster of Troop 54 from January 1, 1995 to approximately September 1998.
Prior to serving as Scoutmaster, Mr. Gates was Assistant Scoutmaster from January 29, 1993.
Mr. Gates' son, Matthew R. Gates, was a youth member of Troop 54, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout in January 1998.
