Troop 54 will take the train from Worcester to Boston to visit the travelling Adventure Base 100 show at Harborfest.
Schedule (per ASM Sycks):
8:30 AM Meet at Union Station in Worcester / buy tickets etc
9:25 AM Depart to Boston
9:28 AM Commence the singing of silly songs
11:00 AM Arrive in Boston head to City Hall Plaza. Spend the day at AB 100 and HarborFest
4:30 PM Take the train back to Worcester
6:00 PM Arrive back in Worcester
There is interest in walking over to The Constitution, so we may do that.
Uniforms: Class A Uniforms are required for Adventure Base 100. Class B is acceptable for the rest of the day.
Bring a day pack with plenty of water. The forecast (as of 7/1/10) has a high of 85 °F.
We will be eating lunch while there, so bring your own lunch and snacks or be prepared to over pay for under quality food. Bring money for the train (approx $8 each way) and for food (if that is your plan), souvenirs, etc.
Wear comfortable shoes.
Permission Slip - Each participating Scout or friend must submit this to the Scoutmaster before the event.
