Amherst Railway Society Railroad Hobby Show -
Annually held at the the Eastern States Exposition Fairgrounds (The home of The Big E) in West Springfield, MA (about 1 hour from
Worcester, MA). The last show was January 29 and 30, 2011.
The Big E - Also called the Eastern States
Exposition, claims to be "the largest fair in the northeast". Held annually in West Springfield, MA (about 1 hour from Worcester, MA).
The next show is September 16 - October 2, 2011.
Big MOE - The Massachusetts Outdoor Exposition
offers exposure to many outdoor skills, such as fishing and animal identification. The last show was September 26, 2010 in
Sturbridge, MA (about half an hour from Worcester, MA).
Boston Porstmouth Air Show - Presented
at Portsmouth International Airport at Pease International Tradeport in Portsmouth, NH (about 1 hour 20 minutes from Worcester, MA).
Shows were planned for 2014, 2016 and 2018, but have sometimes been cancelled.
Gem Show - Annual show by the Worcester
Mineral Club, held every November. Scouts in uniform are usually admitted free. Located at the National Guard Armory on Lincoln Street in
Worcester, MA.
New England Air Show - Presented
every few years at Westover Air Reserve Base in Chicopee, MA (just under one hour from Worcester, MA). The next show is July 14 and 15, 2018.
Veterinary Open House - Cummings School of
Veterinary medicine at Tufts University in West Grafton, MA (approximately 20 minutes from Worcester, MA). This is an annual event held in
September the first Saturday after Labor Day from 11am to 3pm.
Wachusett
Mountain Festivals - The ski resort hosts several festivals in the off-season, including Music Fest, Kids Fest and AppleFest.
Located in Princeton, MA (approximately 25 minutes from Worcester, MA).
